The PG-X portable contact Angle meter is a small instrument used to measure contact angles on various surfaces such as a desk, roof or bumper, glass bottles or metal cans.The results of the measurements can be used to evaluate and control various parameters, such as wettability (printing, painting or coating), adhesion ability (coating), or surface contamination (ultra-fine cleaning).

PG-X does not need to prepare samples for automatic testing.Simply place the device on the surface of the object you want to test and press the button. The internal pump will drop a small drop of water on the test surface that has been accurately measured. The built-in camera captures the movement of the droplets and then reads the test results, such as static contact Angle, dynamic contact Angle and penetration.

The portable contact Angle measuring instrument MSA measures the wettability of the water contact Angle measuring surface by measuring the water contact Angle automatically. The contact Angle may provide specific surface energy parameters required for downstream processes, such as free surface energy and wettability (important indices for printing, spraying and coating) or adhesion capability. In addition, MSA can reliably display surface polarity, such as the effect of Openair plasma treatment.

MSA USES two test fluids to determine surface energy on a solid surface: a polar liquid (usually water) and a non-polar liquid (usually diiodoform).

After pressing the button, MSA releases two test liquids automatically and accurately, measures each contact Angle at the same time, and calculates free surface energy instantly.The machine is not in contact with the measured surface during the test, which avoids causing surface damage or pollution to the test samples.
